Orange confirms its commitment to mobile payment in France by offering Orange Cash customers Apple Pay, which is transforming mobile payments with an easy, secure and private way to pay that’s fast and convenient later this year.

More than 200,000 Orange customers have already used Orange Cash. Enabling Apple Pay will allow Orange to offer this service to many new customers and provide an innovative and secure solution.

Security and privacy is at the core of Apple Pay. When you use Orange Cash with Apple Pay, card numbers are not stored on the device, nor on Apple servers. Instead, a unique Device Account Number is assigned, encrypted and securely stored in the Secure Element of your device. Each transaction is authorised with a one-time unique dynamic security code.

If a user's iPhone is stolen or lost, he can immediately block the Orange Cash service by calling the dedicated Orange Cash customer service 24/7. Or sign in at iCloud.com or use you can use Find My iPhone to quickly put your device in Lost Mode to suspend Apple Pay, or you can wipe your device clean completely.
