Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo implements Accenture Air Cargo Reservations Software to improve customer service and optimize capacity

NEW YORK; Oct. 13, 2015 – Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo has worked with Accenture (NYSE: ACN) to implement Accenture Air Cargo Reservations software, part of the Accenture Freight & Logistics Software (AFLS) suite. AFLS supports optimizing freight capacity over the entire network, offering customers complete solutions and booking efficiency.

Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo is using AFLS software to create a single view of booking options across Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo and partner networks. The AFLS software is used for flight profiling activities in addition to allocation management, entry conditions and restrictions. This helps improve booking efficiency and revenue management execution to further increase both customer satisfaction and profitability.

“With Accenture’s software we further improve our capability to offer fast and complete solutions to our customers,” said Wijnand de Groot, vice president Customer Service, Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo. “After extensive preparations and testing, we are pleased to announce that we can book all options in our joint network in one system.”

The AFLS solution automates capacity checks, reduces manual intervention by revenue managers, and provides better insight into space availability. This makes the air cargo reservations process quicker and more efficient.

“Accenture’s software helps Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo to further improve the speed of quotation and booking processes,” said Ganesh Vaideeswaran, managing director, Accenture Freight and Logistics Software. “One seamless system provides an overall view of the network and booking options, helps increase efficiency and revenue management execution, and ultimately raises customer satisfaction and profitability.”
