Afrostream available on Orange TV

Paris, Friday, September 16, 2016

Orange and Afrostream are marking a new step in their collaboration that began in April 2015 via Orange Fab, the Orange start-up incubator and strengthened six months later by an Orange Digital Ventures minority shareholding. This partnership with Orange enables Afrostream to accelerate the development of its innovative service in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and South America.

Now available on Orange TV in the Pass Vidéo section, Afrostream is a subscription video-on-demand service, which offers unprecedented access to the best Afro-American, Caribbean and African content. Afrostream offers hundreds of hours of unlimited programmes: films, series, documentaries, concerts and more… The videos are in HD, in French and in their original version with subtitles. Afrostream is available for €6.99 a month, with no commitment, for Orange TV customers in mainland France who have the Livebox 4 or Livebox Play and their respective decoders. Orange TV customers who have subscribed to Afrostream will soon have access to its content on tablets and mobiles.

With Afrostream, Orange is enhancing its Pass Vidéo offer with brand new content and unique programming. Afrostream and Orange intend to distribute the service more widely in other countries within the Orange Group's footprint.
