Genband is about bringing high performance VNFs to market - session border controllers, transcoding solutions, VoLTE offerings, virtual IMS and intelligent messaging solutions - and it also has a VNF manager in the orchestration layer to manage its own and third party VNFs. Both Intel’s Network Builders and HPE’s OpenNFV have proved themselves great ecosystems with which to be involved, says Sanjay. They promote collaboration and so are an ideal way to bring high-performance, end-to-end systems to market.
