Rather than using Ericsson’s Cloud Native Infrastructure Solution (CNIS) product, Telus built its own cloud-native stack to ensure consistency across its multivendor environment. Hassan explains how the company overcame integration and automation challenges, and is now migrating legacy customers to the Ericsson 5G core with dual-mode 4G/5G functionality. He also outlines plans for automation, AI, deep analytics for network monitoring, and network slicing capabilities.
