F5 BIG-IP – 40GE NFV prototype
Introduction
This prototype demonstrates the technical feasibility of combining virtualized network functions from F5 Networks with Intel Xeon, Intel® XL710 40GbE, and Intel QuickAssist technology to provide faster SSL offload and L4/L7 traffic throughput over 30G.
