Wearable technology for animals is already big business (think ‘tagging’ farm animals) and is soon going to be even bigger, with 300 companies working on new M2M-style gadgets and applications.  Non-neutral mobile business models, however, while much talked about are likely to glean very little: one UK- based consultant says they’re probably not worth the effort. While nobody would be surprised to learn that the World Cup is driving lots of data traffic, they may be very surprised to learn that  the same World Cup fever might bring back the ‘ringback tone’, extinct (or even unknown) in many territories for the past decade.
