The message from last year’s inaugural Cloud Native Telco event was clear: stop talking, now put it into practice… But of course, that is far easier said than done. What are the challenges; what’s holding back cloud native deployments, and what best practices are emerging to help telcos operationalise cloud native? Also, given the amount of interest telcos are showing in cloud native, are they also contributing innovation – as they operationalise, they are going to come across issues and areas that are unique to telcos, and which ought to be fed back into the cloud native developer communities – but is this happening?
