This year’s NFV World Congress saw the focus shift to Network Function Virtualisation commercial deployment after several years of software development. Network function providers are now savouring the opportunity presented by Alcatel-Lucent’s Cloudband certification to confidently engage with service providers who, in turn, are now looking to use virtual functions to construct new business models.
