Multi-year agreement positions ontology-based approach to enable AI execution across entire BSS environment without system replacement
Austin, TX – Totogi today announced that a Tier-1 telecommunications operator in Southeast Asia serving over 10 million subscribers has selected BSS Magic as the foundation for AI across their BSS environment. The multi-year engagement positions BSS Magic’s telco ontology as strategic infrastructure for the operator’s AI capabilities.
The operator joins Tier-1 telecommunications providers across Asia, Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Africa that have deployed BSS Magic capabilities in production across their BSS environments.
The deployment is expected to reduce ticket volume by more than 50%, reduce mean time to repair by more than 50%, and improve order success rate by more than 40%.
The first production AI capability will automate the detection and remediation of order management failures—errors caused by corrupted data, missing configurations, or broken system linkages. Every failed order is blocked revenue: a customer ready to buy, waiting on a quote. Resolution that previously took 8–24 hours will happen in minutes.
“Failed orders aren’t an IT problem—they’re a revenue problem,” said Danielle Rios, CEO of Totogi. “BSS Magic’s ontology gives AI the semantic foundation to understand what ‘order,’ ‘service,’ and ‘subscriber’ mean across every system. That’s what makes automated detection and remediation possible without brittle system-to-system integrations—and is what unlocks AI at scale.”
BSS Magic’s telco ontology—built on TM Forum ODA, 3GPP, and other industry standards—models the operator’s orders, services, and customer relationships in a unified semantic layer across its BSS environment. That foundation enables AI to execute autonomously across billing, CRM, provisioning, and product catalog systems with full traceability.
This is the context generic AI tools lack. And it’s the cross-system visibility legacy vendor AI can’t provide—bolt-on features only access their own platforms, not the telco’s broader IT ecosystem.
The operator’s existing systems will remain in place. BSS Magic sits above them as an intelligent layer that reads, reasons, and acts across the entire landscape. No rip-and-replace. No new vendor dependencies.
Because the ontology models the operator’s commercial and operational reality, the same semantic layer can be reused and expanded to unlock new use cases. New capabilities will be deployed by building on the existing foundation, going from concept to production in weeks rather than months. Additional capabilities are planned across the operator’s BSS estate, with initial deployment expected in Q1 2026.
About Totogi
Totogi is a vertical AI company focused exclusively on telecommunications. The problem telcos face isn’t a lack of AI tools—it’s that AI can’t work at scale across fragmented legacy systems that don’t share a common understanding of their business. Totogi’s flagship product, BSS Magic, creates a unified ontology of the telco’s operations—a living digital twin built on open industry standards—that sits above existing systems and gives AI the semantic foundation it needs to operate across the entire stack. Totogi works with Tier-1 operators to connect systems from Amdocs, Ericsson, Huawei, Salesforce, and other vendors, enabling AI capabilities deployed to production without replacing a single system.
