London, October 1, 2026 - As part of the Xantaro Group's long-term strategy, Christian Werner has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as of today, with Martin Czermin moving into the role of Executive Chairman. The carefully planned handover ensures continuity in day-to-day operations while giving the Group a strong foundation to expand into new areas of growth.
For the Xantaro Group, the transition brings stability at the top, strengthened by additional management experience. For customers, it means everything they rely on stays the same: the same quality, the same support, and the same close partnership.
"This handover is something we've carefully prepared for, and it marks the start of the next phase in our company's development," says Martin Czermin, Executive Chairman of the Xantaro Group. "With Christian Werner, I am handing over the reins to a true industry professional. He not only brings a deep understanding of the IT market but has also shown time and again that he knows how to grow organisations and build lasting success. For our customers, partners, and our entire team, this is a strong signal that Xantaro is well prepared for the future."
Christian Werner has more than 30 years of international experience in the IT and system integration industry. He joins from Digit Solutions GmbH, a provider of managed security services, where he most recently served as Managing Director for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). With managed services a key part of the Xantaro Group's portfolio, his expertise is a particularly strong fit.
A particularly formative chapter in his career was his eight years as CEO and Managing Director of Logicalis Group DACH. During this time, he more than doubled both revenue and EBITDA and grew the organisation from 160 to more than 400 employees.
Prior to this, he acquired extensive industry expertise in long-standing, partly international leadership positions at renowned technology companies such as Oracle, Sun Microsystems, and Siemens.
"Xantaro is very well positioned in the market, both technologically and in the strength of its team," adds Christian Werner, the new CEO of the Xantaro Group. "My priority is to build on Martin's successful work and make sure our customers can continue to rely on us. On this solid foundation, and together with our excellent team, we will continue to systematically expand the Xantaro Group's growth platforms."
