OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (BUSINESS WIRE), May 31, 2016 - Former AT&T executive, Nelly Pitocco, recently joined Sprint as vice president of enterprise sales, reporting directly to Kevin Crull, president of Central Area. Pitocco is responsible for B2B sales and business development, supporting enterprise customers with wireless communications solutions and services.

“Pitocco has more than 20 years of experience in sales, technology and IT outsourcing,” said Kevin Crull, president of Central Area. “I am confident that Pitocco and her team will take over the Central Area and ensure the best experience for our enterprise customers.”

Pitocco’s appointment follows Sprint’s announcement that it will restructure the company into four geographic areas – West, Central, Northeast and South – with targeted resources devoted to 18 top markets, including Chicago, Indianapolis, Kansas City and Minneapolis in the Central Area.

The Central geographic area covers Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, West Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

“It’s an exciting time to lead the enterprise sales team for the Central Area,” said Nelly Pitocco. “Our goal is to provide great customer service and compelling wireless and mobility solutions to our business customers. A local presence, with dedicated teams supporting our customers in each state, positions us to do so."

Prior to joining Sprint, Pitocco held executive and management positions at Apollo, AT&T, IBM, Advantis leading both domestic and global teams responsible for GTM outsourcing sales, account management, operations, customer care, solution and product development.

Pitocco recently participated at the BIG Communications Event for the Women in Comms Conference on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Austin Convention Center. During the panel, Pitocco spoke about treating and seeing everyone as individuals rather than genders, Sprint’s diverse leadership team and hiring the best talent.
