When paired with Qualcomm Technologies’ server CPU, the combined solution will enable advanced and cost-effective platforms for the next generation of datacenter infrastructure, delivering a significant return on investment.

“We are pleased to work with Qualcomm, as they extend their proven execution and technology leadership in the embedded space, to the server market,” said Eyal Waldman, president and chief executive officer, Mellanox Technologies. “Qualcomm Technologies’ advanced server technology combined with our industry leading interconnect solutions, creates a world-class platform for next-generation server and storage systems. This collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies will enable data centers to scale out with efficient, intelligent building blocks, to meet the needs of enterprise, cloud, Big Data, Web 2.0, and storage workloads.”

“We are combining our long history of bespoke processor development with world-class server CPU design expertise to deliver innovative solutions for the world’s mega data centers,” says Anand Chandrasekher, senior vice president, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. “Working with Mellanox to combine its extremely high performance interconnect solutions with our leading-edge CPU ensures that we, and our customers, are able to address the most demanding datacenter needs.”
