12 July, 2016

Espoo, Finland - Nokia has renewed its OSSii Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ericsson and Huawei. The new MoU extends the duration and scope of the initiative to cover IP multimedia subsystems and virtualized network functions.

Open to other vendors, the OSSii aims to make multi-vendor network management systems work seamlessly together, improve service introduction times and reduce integration complexity.

Bhaskar Gorti, Nokia Applications and Analytics president, said :

“We have expanded our collaboration with the OSSii to new areas so our customers, who run multi-vendor networks, are able to easily introduce IMS services and virtualized functions in multi-vendor OSS environments. This effort reflects Nokia’s longstanding commitment to openness.”
