[Beijing, July 23, 2015] Huawei Senior Vice President Qu Wenchu recently met with Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama of Fiji at the company's Beijing Research Center. Prime Minister Bainimarama thanked Huawei for its significant contribution to ICT development in Fiji. In its national ICT plan, Fiji hopes that Huawei can offer constructive suggestions and help the country become an ICT hub for the region.
Qu Wenchu stated that the sound business environment created by the Fijian government has enabled Huawei to achieve steady growth in the country. Huawei will bring the world's latest communications technologies and products such as 5G and 100G submarine cables into Fiji.
