Fluidata and Sky’s SNS Wholesale partner to bring new Ethernet solution to market

Via Fluidata

Sep 15, 2016

Business communications provider Fluidata and Sky’s newly created SNS Wholesale division announce today that they have signed an agreement to offer a new high capacity Ethernet solution to businesses.

Fluidata and SNS Wholesale will work together to deliver the service to businesses up and down the country. The service will utilise Sky’s nationwide telecomms network and Fluidata’s extensive experience of bringing business communications products to market.

Fluidata will also provide a dedicated support team, offering industry-leading customer service, and ensuring faster delivery times. All services will be mapped across the Sky core network before being delivered to the Fluidata network via a highly resilient solution, offering automatic re-routing of traffic against incidents.

Piers Daniell, Managing Director of Fluidata said:

“Customers choosing to commit to long term high capacity connections strengthen the growth potential in their businesses. It is only through Sky’s significant investment in the consumer market that we can push 1 Gb/s connections as standard and ensure customer connectivity is truly future-proof.”

Graham Sargood, Sky’s Director of Telecomms Wholesale said:

“This is an exciting opportunity to work with Fluidata to deliver a brand new service to the UK marketplace. Our investment in our telecomms infrastructure to deliver voice, video and data services to our residential customer base will enable us to use this highly resilient national network to also serve the business marketplace with an ability to reach over 95% of businesses in the UK. Fluidata is the ideal partner to begin these services with.”

All services will be available with SLA+, Fluidata’s industry-leading standard guarantee of service up-time and there are a number of offers available at launch, including:

  • Free installation and activation – worth £2,500
  • An extra 50 Mb/s of bandwidth free with 100 Mb/s or 200 Mb/s service

The new high-capacity Ethernet solutions can be ordered from Fluidata, for both the direct and partner markets, from today.
