SAP Jam and Invisible.io are making intelligent, conversational chatbots a reality

Via SAP SE Newsroom

Sep 22, 2017

Chatbots offer the promise of more engaging and valuable user experiences by creating greater opportunities for productive dialogue, but their promise has yet to become fully realized.

Digital business professionals are vying for next-level chatbot capabilities that will serve consumers at scale in conversational mobile moments.

Invisible.io, a leader in enterprise-class integration solutions development, is helping companies to start building these capabilities within the sales, service and marketing lines of business within the SAP Jam Collaboration product experience.

Real-time chatbots will provide new ways for companies to extend and improve their interactions with customers, employees and prospects in a more streamlined and effective fashion. Invisible.io chatbots, enabled by SAP Jam Collabroation, are bringing this to life. By interacting with SAP Hybris products, these bots are providing a more conversational approach to working with business applications via natural language processing. This includes quick and easy custom update notifications, support for inquiries, and lightweight data input via real-time integration to SAP applications.

Chatbots are only as effective as their ability to provide relevant and valuable interactions between the user and the application. SAP is on a mission to enable chatbots to improve their intelligence and effectiveness by facilitating more valuable interactions between SAP Jam and SAP Hybris solutions, a powerful and important development for the SAP Jam community.

SAP Jam Collaboration, part of SAP Cloud Platfrom, enables organizations to bring modern, social and collaborative capabilities to business applications and processes across the entire company. Invisible.io will develop these new chatbot capabilities with select SAP Jam Collaboration customers, enhancing the customers’ ability to quickly and easily achieve high-impact improvements to existing sales, service and marketing processes. This is part of SAP Jam’s commitment to providing businesses with the tools to create highly scalable, collaboration-enabled processes.

If you are attending SAP TechEd Las Vegas next week, come speak with the product experts at our SAP Jam demo pod to learn more about SAP Jam and how it integrates with SAP Cloud Platform. There will also be two sessions at the event that offer more information on how SAP Jam provides collaboration services to SAP Cloud Platform applications. The first is a lecture on adding a modern user experience and engagement to apps with collaboration (Session CPL223); the second is a codeJam: Developing collaborative business apps withy SAP Web IDE and SAP Jam (session DX619).
