Royal KPN N.V. (“KPN”) has been informed that Oscar von Hauske Solís, COO and board member of América Móvil (“AMX”), will step down as a member of KPN’s Supervisory Board with immediate effect.

AMX has informed KPN that, related to the reclassification of its investment in KPN as asset available for sale, it will limit representation in the Supervisory Board to one member. Carlos García Moreno Elizondo, CFO of AMX, will remain a member of the Supervisory Board.

The Supervisory Board expresses its gratitude to Oscar von Hauske Solís for his contribution to the Supervisory Board, in particular through his extensive knowledge of the telecommunications industry. No decisions have been made regarding new nominations to the Supervisory Board.
