May 25, 2016. MegaFon presents eMotion, a new service run by the operator that enables its users to make calls and text via the internet from anywhere in the world even to those users who do not have the app installed.

The eMotion app works both through Wi-Fi and mobile internet. This helps the service users always stay in touch with their close ones even in places they unwittingly find themselves cut off from the rest of the world: in basements, metro tunnels, etc. The smart app makes it possible to initiate or answer a call even if the subscriber’s GSM signal is lost but the smartphone is connected to the internet via Wi-Fi.

eMotion offers a number of advantages:

• Possibility of calling or texting to those who do not have the app installed;
• Single mobile number: no need to set up extra accounts and tell your login to all relatives and friends;

• Texting between eMotion users is free.
