At CES 2016, Intel CEO Brian Krzanich’s keynote opened with Drone 100, a video showing for the first time the coordinated flight of 100 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), also known as “drones,” in Germany last year. It was an event that Intel received the first Guinness World Record* for flying 100 UAVs simultaneously in the sky.

More recently, Intel became the only company to receive a Section 333 Exemption for multiple UAVs per pilot from the FAA and launched the first Drone 100 event over U.S. soil. The UAVs were built by Ascending Technologies, now a part of Intel. View the event on YouTube.
