Sanjay Mewada, Chief Strategy Officer, Netcracker

Netcracker is the provider of BSS/OSS, virtualisation, cloud operations and managed services to most of the world's biggest operators and CSPs. As such, the fundamental nature of Netcracker's business is the handling of a massive amount of sensitive data, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year-in, year-out. Netcracker's systems and solutions constantly touch billing data, operations data, services data and network data and, as Sanjay Mewada says, the ability and determination to keep all data safe and secure is embedded deep in the company's DNA.

Netcracker uses the norms set by the US Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology as the foundation of its security ethos and programme, and is an active member of, and contributor to, the organisation. Sanjay Mewada says the company leads the way in comparison to other vendors in the cyber-security sector because of its exceptional experience and skills in that all data - be that, for example, managed network data, VNF on-boarding or orchestration - associated with all parts of a network is handled and treated in a safe and secure manner.

Netcracker has an immense wealth of experience in ensuring that customer data whether pertaining to managed services, multi-cloud environments, network as a service or a full stack offering, remains secure at all time and under all circumstances and regardless of its environment and whether multi-cloud or privately hosted.

Sanjay Mewada says, "We look at security as a moving target. Security is not something that is put in place just the once and then left. It is something that has constantly to be updated and upgraded and kept at the forefront of the latest industry standards. Our customers take security very, very seriously and at Netcracker we do the same."
