ECTA
appoints new Regulatory Affairs Manager
Based in Brussels, Tom Kiedrowski has been working
for ECTA since the end of June and is getting stuck
into the issues that are of concern to members,
particularly regarding the implementation of the
New Regulatory Framework across the EU-25.
"I am very pleased to have joined an influential
organisation like ECTA and I look forward to helping
to ensure that member companies get a fair crack
at offering their competitive services throughout
Europe,” Tom said.
Tom was previously employed as Manager of Operational
Regulation with BT Group, developing policy on bitstream
access, local loop unbundling and VoIP regulation.
Prior to that he was a Senior Adviser in European
Affairs at BT and a Regulatory Adviser providing
dedicated support to BT's leased lines, ATM and
Frame Relay product teams. He is active both in
the International Institute of Communications (IIC)
and the International Telecommunications Society
(ITS) and holds a Masters degree in International
