'Security' is often raised as the number one concern for emerging technologies like SDN and NFV. But, says Eric Hanselman, Chief Analyst at 451 Research, this is often an expression of concern against change itself. Enterprises, more so than Carriers, may need to address the political and organizational issues of traditionally 'siloed' infrastructure, before they can fully realize the agility that SDN, and NFV, can bring.
