Mike Aquino, CEO and President of Overture Networks, is an SDN believer with nothing to fear except FUD itself. Overture has a strong position in Carrier Ethernet and Mike can see major opportunities for his company as disruptive change sweeps through. He tells Martyn Warwick that he expects the new standards will most likely boost consolidation in both the Service Provider and Technology Provider camps, so while all the companies are trying to move the industry forwards, he observes, some players are trying to do that more quickly than others.
