SDN, NFV and the Cloud: Huawei's vision of an open future

Vendor lock-in has resulted in various networking technologies failing to live up to their hype over the last 20 years. Not so with SDN and NFV, says Dr. Justin Dustzadeh, CTO & VP Technology Strategy, Networks, at Huawei Technologies. He believes that there is more to gain from embracing these new technologies and competing on the software side, in an open environment. In this interview from SDN and OpenFlow World Congress 2013, he speaks with TelecomTV's Martyn Warwick about Huawei's vision of the evolution of SDN networks.
