NFV provider community is moving its focus from saving money to making money

Much of the early focus of network transformation work was on lowering the total cost of ownership, mainly through open savings and better asset utilisation. Now there is a move within the industry towards actually making money. 
Intel is seeing commitment from all corners of the world. Whilst it is the tier 1 telcos who are creating the business case needs, it's the tier 2 and 3 service providers that are typically faster to deploy these new NFV solutions.
