Introduction

Envivio's Cloud DVR features are being powered by Intel(r) Xeon(r) processor E3-1200 v4. One of the unique features, only capable with Intel(r) Quick Sync Video (Intel QSV) was demonstrated at Intel's booth at IBC. Envivio Muse Live just-in-time transcoding (JITTr) and Halo just-in- time packaging (JITP) use Intel QSV to transcode and package on the fly. Not only does this solution reduce storage 50-70% for operators, it also allows consumers to record from any device from anywhere.
