Franklin Flint, Chief Technology Officer, TIA
The TIA is poised to initiate a testing programme to assure interoperability between both open and closed network components and elements, Franklin tells Guy Daniels. He doesn’t think an open source base is the answer to everything - it’s also possible to get some really amazing things done in a closed environment, he says. He believes we need strong interface standards to ensure that both approaches can prosper.
