Openstack is very viable and is seeing a lot of traction, Pete tells Martyn Warwick, so as far as VMware is concerned, we want to provide our customers with the tools that can help them do what they want to do. Pete says he’s seen a significant increase in customers looking at OpenStack and he says VMware has arranged things so that customers can quickly and easily deploy the entire framework. So what’s the attraction? “OpenStack is a great way to programatically drive the ‘scaling up’ of an environment,” he says.
