Scott Sneddon, Senior Director, Cloud & SDN, Global Solutions and Business Transformation, Juniper Networks

In the world of NFV clouds, OpenStack is the de facto platform as far as CSPs and any sort of cloud revenues are concerned. Scott Sneddon says this is because OpenStack is not commercially beholden to the big vendors. Another strength is the is growing collaboration within and throughout the ecosystem. That said, it is still early days; the subjects and technologies are complex, there are a great many , perhaps too many, tools available to use and there remains a shortage of expertise - and what does exist is at a premium and spread thinly.
