Lumina Networks has launched itself out of the starting gate in the integration of Kubernetes container technology with its software-defined network controller. According to Lumina Networks VP Technical Operations Edgar Lombera, the Lumina Fabric Manager will enable all the features and functionalities of SDN to be applied to Kubernetes container-based microservices environment.
