Dr. Asok Chatterjee, Director General, TSDSI

The Telecommunications Standards Development Society India is one of the world's newest standards organisations and a full member partner of the 3GPP. As such, it is determined that Indian companies and researchers play an active role in the 5G process, and that the country evolves from being an importer of technology to being an influencer and innovator. 5G is not too early for India; it intends to roll out services early next decade.
