Pre-tested and pre-validated VNFs allow CSP's hardware-based networks to interoperate in cloud-based systems

Radware has been an HPE OpenNFV partner for several years and, as Michael O'Malley explains, it is critically important that his company (and others) should be an integral part of such ecosystems to ensure that CSPs are enabled to take advantage of the many benefits that VNFs can provide in terms of reduced costs, increased speed and greater agility. Equally important is the provision of pre-tested and pre-validated VNFs, not least because they allow hardware-based networks to interoperate in cloud-based systems. For example these days, thanks to 200Gbit load balancing now available on a single Radware 'white box' solution deployed in HPE-enabled networks, the big and complex loads that used to be handled solely in hardware can now be managed in software.
