Uri Elzur, SDN Architecture Director, Intel Data Center Group

Intel is famously the world’s leading silicon designer and therefore a hardware specialist, providing building blocks for other players to construct devices and systems from. But with the recent focus on SDN and NFV it has developed a view of a combined SDN/NFV market it likes to define as Software Designed Infrastructure (SDI). If that’s the case, we ask Uri Elzur, SDN Architecture Director at the Intel Data Center Group, does it necessarily mean Intel has to get involved in software in a way it never has before? Uri’s answer may surprise you.

Filmed at: SDN and OpenFlow Asia-Pacific Congress, Hong Kong, 3 June 2014
