Cosm is a London-based Internet of Things platform that anyone can use for free. You configure your M2M devices, stream them onto the platform over the Internet and start gathering data, but that's just when the fun (and learning) starts. Cosm is for sharing data and for finding serendipitous connections - mash-ups if you like - that might be turned into new applications. Founder Usman Haque tells Ian Scales that it's been built almost like a familiar Web service and he claims users can be productive in five minutes.
