Where is Hewlett Packard Enterprise now with its NFV effort, Martyn Warwick asks Massimo, who explains that NFV Director orchestrates the onboarding of functions and the resulting services. It’s open and multi-vendor, as with all HPE products before or now. Service director sits on top of NFV Director and generates a service view right across different domains. HPE has 50 to 60 Proofs-of-Concept (PoCs) operating around the world and is now going into production. Early mover CPSs, he says, will reap the benefits.
