Xura was created in September 2015 following the merger of Comverse and Acision, and provides next-generation digital technology to operators and enterprises. It has partnered with Hewlett Packard Enterprise to implement OpenNFV in its solutions, providing pre-tested virtual network functions to service providers migrating to NFV. Leveraging its relationship with HPE, Xura can help communication service providers with reducing time to market for new services and ensure interoperability across VNFs and equipment, and says openness so crucial for the deployment and evolution of NFV in CSP networks.
