Project Clearwater is an Open Source initiative designed from the ground up to run in a cloud environment. Martin Taylor, CTO at Metaswitch, explains how the project has garnered interest from Network Operators struggling with the cost of their IMS networks. Speaking with TelecomTV’s Martin Warwick at SDN and OpenFlow World Congress 2013, Martin also suggests that the benefits of NFV will be lost to those operators who are resistant to the necessary culture change the breaking technology demands.
