On target to meet its ambitious target of 15 million 4G subscribers in the UK by the end of 2015, EE is also pushing to provide almost total coverage to the country's most remote rural areas. Even today a small but significant percentage of UK citizens remain disenfranchised - by dint of geographic inaccessibility - from full membership of the digital society and economy. EE intends to bring then into the digital fold via the deployment of a combination of (literally) 'out there' technologies including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (commonly referred to as 'drones').
