Jon Carter, UK Head of Business Development, Connected Home, Deutsche Telekom

Deutsche Telekom believes the industry hasn't started to grasp the full opportunity around IoT in the home. The telco offers connected home services and applications direct to customers in Germany through its high street stores. It is now leveraging this capability internationally, partnering with other telcos, utilities, retailers and insurance companies, offering a white label and open solution. It also works with third-parties on its open and standards-compliant platform, and has developed an open API to work with the developer community to bring IoT into the home.
